I used rake edge instead of drip edge

I just finished half my roof and realized the company only sent me out rake edge. So I have been using rake edge with a 1 inch overlap. Will it work just as fine for the drip edge.

There are many kinds of drip/rake edge and many are interchangeable and can be used for both.
