I'm looking for a specialist bolt to attach the gas strut of an ottoman bed to.
Ideally it should pass through the hinge plate to be fastened with a nut, then have an unthreaded section for the struct to slide over, and a threaded end to put a nut on to keep it in place.
Googling throws up loads of ball-end things (for cars) but nothing that looks appropriate.
I'm sure it's a case of knowing the name ...
