At £1,700 that is some fire!
At £1,700 that is some fire!
Plus me and a joiner 6 hours to remove the old small gas fire (that had no gas supply) and fit it.
Well 4 hours for me as I spend 2 hours adding some extra sensors to the electric gates so that they do not close on on his car again:-)
This car
Thanks for that. I'd been wondering what sort of person could both want and afford such a fire.
Any self respecting gate would close on that car
I only gave that car as an example.
The actual car (same make and model) has a darker non reflective black finish than the one in the link.
Imagine Disaster Area's stunt ship and then make it a bit more black.
But that is what 23 year old premiership footballers drive (into their electric gates).
BTW his Dad is the joiner. He was the one with the Henry on the video.
except for the space that it, and the header tank, take up
Living in a flat (in one that I have just moved to from the above), I achieved a 5% increase in usable space that would have been impossible to have archived otherwise, by replacing a cupboard full of plumbing "stuff" with a combi on the wall of the kitchen.

Is it meant to look like it's already been in an accident?

You are of course both right. :) My son lives in Germany, and his bathroom has a 21KW 'instant' electric water heater. It's quite compact and it's powered by 3 phase electricity. That's entirely standard over there, he tells me.
How much does he pay for a KiloWatt/hour of electric, now that they have shut down all their nuclear power stations ?
About 31¢ = 27p per kWh, They have overtaken Denmark as being most expensive in the EU
a source that thinks we pay 21p/kWh!
0.21¢ = 18p
rack rates from various suppliers seem to be about 14p inc VAT, so I dare say some mugs are paying 18p.
But Germans pay 0.15 per kwH if you exclude 'other taxes' and vat, so Belgium and Eire have the most expensive power on that basis.
And where is Switzerland if Norway is on the list ?.
They used to import a lot of nuclear powered electricity from Germany.
Switzerland imports nothing. Quite the opposite - they have nuclear and hydro beyond their needs
Must have big cocao plantations then:-)?
According to my sister Switzerland has f*ck all worth mentioning and so she moved to Crouch End.
Just after spending enough time in Zug for tax fiddling reasons IMHO.
