AVG continuing annoyance

Partly self inflicted but..C-Cleaner offered a 1 month free trial of their full service. As they had been whinging about driver updates, I signed up.Before the month was up, I reverted to the free service. Following my earlier experience with a threatened service withdrawal from AVG I expected some leverage to be applied.The increasingly desperate attempts seem to have stretched well beyond the original month (perhaps they use special calendars) and has now progressed to a non removable (by me anyway) banner parked in a corner of my screen offering an *accept or remind me* choice.Ticking either box would appear to grant some leverage and a normal shut down prevented by an open link to AVG, so the only way out was to disconnect the supply.OK so far:-) We will see what tomorrow brings!

Not had that problem. I run C Cleaner about once per week anyway.
