Did you mean "in different threads" or a in a "different thread"

... now what mistake did I make there ? ...

Q: How do you make it easier to get a striplight up on a high ceiling?

A: You buy a self raising flourescent one

:-)

My thoughts, exactly.

Shoot that man! :)

Or buy 'whicker' furniture...

Given Alan's age that's probably going to be a big comfy armchair with a tiltup seat

Yes. Then there is "very unique".

OoooH, a split infinitive as well.

Brilliant ;o) What a "fud" I am.

Could you embr.. oh never mind.

"a in a"

There's also those people (including BBC broadcasters!) who say "sickth" instead of "sixth". Then those others who write "would of" instead of "would've".

And those who pronounce height "highth".

And those who prounounce "drawing" (as in drawing board) as "draw-ring".

The ones that really grate are:

1) The NatWest telephone banking woman (automated) who says "Feb-yoo-errry"); haven't heard it yet this year, though.

2) Those who say "eck-set-err-err".

And then there are ...

...

The pedants
