Thank you:-)
The daft one at our work was told "do not swap any socket fronts as the power is on". Five minutes later the joiner tells me "you apprentice has just had a right belt from a socket"
Although TBH I was expecting a picture of someone using a mobile phone.
I like the description of: a person "connected to" an electrical source. Was it via hard wiring or a plug&socket system?

Please show a little respect. That apprentice has a mother somewhere.
Does he not have one of those natty neon screwdrivers?
Maybe by boxing day...
*cough* Been known to do this more than once. Never had a shock so far. ;-)
Yes, I know it's stupid.

And don;t be so sexist, he most likely has a father too, even if he doesn;t know who he is, he's mother might also know who is father is. ;-)
But I bet their responses are different Mom: freak out Dad: Crap, thank god hes ok. What a total ----, hopefully he's learnt a good lesson.

Reminds me of the first time I came home drunk. My mother burst into tears and my father burst out laughing.
These days the more likely reaction is to get onto the phone to some accident lawyers if there is any possibility there is money in it for them?

I was most concerned - and indeed alarmed - by the apprentice's care-free expression. He's clearly unaware of the peril his 'nads are in and the fact that he may never be able to have children should a potential difference arise between his feet. I guess we're witnessing Darwinism in action here.
Actually, it was a really interesting article.
