I'm 6'3 yet have spider phobia :-/ can anyone recommend a good product to get them to stay away and not get in through my windows and doors?
I've heard negative opinions for ultrasonic insect repellers, what about the sprays?

I can sympathise with arachnophobia (although I don't understand it), but killing spiders is a definite no-no. And yes, I do realise you don't want to kill them, but the website sells just such a horrible product. "If you want to live and thrive, let a spider run alive".
I suffer from the effects of arachnophobia in that SWMBO, MIL and two daughters all scream and shout to various degree when they see a spider. They are also infecting our two-year-old granddaughter, despite my efforts to show her that spiders are wonderful and fascinating creatures.
Spiders isn't pests either.
You can't get rid of them, I suggest taking up a hobby - lampshade making for instance.

Pestiness is in the eye of the beholder. Doubtless some people actually appreciate visits from Jehovah's Witnesses, for example.
Which of course begs the question as to what is the phobia of jehovah''s witnesses ?
They last less than 5 seconds at my front door. They are very politely told to go away quickly and they are never offended.
I do not buy at my front door, they say that we are not selling. I close the conversation with that you are selling religion. They usually turn and leave

You'd have to be quite a good shot :-)

house. We have no web spiders only the occasional hunter, and they generally only come out at night. I think they are subsisting on the occasional silverfish in the carpet.
Look at it this way, it is either spiders or a mountain of other creepy crawlies that the absent spiders won't be eating.
BTW evicting them outside is cruel, a recent study showed over 90% die. For one thing they are house specialists and for another outside all the good spider spots are already taken so the evictee gets eaten by birds or other spiders. After reading that I steadfastly refuse to remove spiders unless one is trapped in bath or sink, then they get put somewhere, like under the stairs.
