Anyone know a supplier of wood glazing bead?

I am repairing some wood window frames. I need softwood glazing bead of about 15 mm wide by 9 mm high. Shape can be wedge or curvy. I need about

130 metres - yes lots of windows!

Hours on Google and found only two suppliers Reddiseal (they no longer stock even though still on the website) and Rother Valley who only supply locally. Wickes and B&Q prices, for moulding that would need modifying, are outrageous.

Anyone know of a supplier that supplies nationally? Other than that I guess its a day out to Kent, if I can get a price out of Rother.

Mine use sash window stop bead - which most of the timber suppliers keep.

I needed hardwood glazing bead (and similar quantities to you), and the costs were outrageous.

Made my own wedge profile on the table saw. Thickness the timber to your bead width (the larger dimension), or buy stock fairly wide board. Cant the blade over on the table saw and set the fence to the desired wedge depth. You have to keep changing the blade angle from vertical to your required wedge angle as you take off each slice - but it's easy to produce wedge shaped beading at a very tiny fraction of the commercial price.

Both excellent ideas. Thank you.

Applying the finish before fixing makes life easier too.
