What's the point in those fancy 5 point door locks, when you can simply put your foot straight through those stupid modern PVC doors? They're hollow! Wood is far better.

We have a 5 point lock on both a wooden exterior door and on a metal patio door.
Yeah - wood isn't stupid at all.
It isn't as thick as two short planks.
