A bit of an odd question - not really a diy question, but never mind.
3-seater sofas come in 2 types - the ones with 3 seat cushions and those with 2 wider cushions. We have had a 3-cushioned leather sofa for 12 years and the cushion on one end (where everyone tends to sit) has finally gone flattish on the edge nearest the middle cushion. The middle cushion itself and other end are fine. Still with me? We are about to purchase a new leather suite and are contemplating the two types, wondering if the 2-cushion types will survive the flattening effect better.
Can anyone recommend one type over another? I know a lot of it is down to the quality of the furniture itself (my current suite has lasted brilliantly despite having children and cats jumping all over it at times), but surely the widths of the cushions must make a difference.
