oak storage

I will most likely have to stack it off behind the shop. Just wondering if id run into any problems keeping it under a tarp, or plastic of some type?... Im thinking mid-south humidity + plastic + wood, not a good combo...

Table saw reviews??

heavier duty that the home shop fence. It is 42 or 48" long as opposed to the 36" that I have. Commercial shops are more likely to cut large panels all day than you or I are. My question is more about what others, such as Craftsman, consider a commercial fence.

oak table restoration refinishing

did much the same ,I wa chipping golf balls next to the old shop. some went into the kudzu, [actually most]. For those who dont know no better kudzu is a southerin vine that takes over full grown trees with ease.

Can This Floor Be Saved?

A knowledgable floor shop won't want to touch them because they can do strange things later, I know I've been burnt while managing a large shop. Got called back a year later after the moisture meters said what they were supposed to say.

Cutting Board material

I had a copy of that in my drawer at the shop. When they say plastic, they mean polyethylene. The only thing that is good for, is for the knives. My pre-2003 shop was surrounded by butchers who had problems with inspectors because they used poly boards.
