I wonder if the Apple TV would do for you? Mind, I've never quite got to the bottom of what might be Mac/IOS only and what works fine on a PC.

Washing Machine Surge Protector

Apple did that even in the Apple II. It was as ineffective as power strip protectors. A protector is only as effective as its earth ground. Explains why a 'whol e house' protector (properly earthed) is so effective.

Day in the garden

We now return you to your thread, already in progress: Not the season, but I often find myself humming the "Apple Picker's Reel" in the garden. Feels so fine Feels so free Sittin' in the top of an apple tree. Or the Liberty Bell March, for unrelated reasons.

I have two Mac apple trees in my front yard that my mom planted in 1965, and they still bear beautifully. I didn't know, but pretty much all hybrid varieties have a little bit of MacIntosh apple strain in them!

Plant a fruit tree at work

actually a very progressive week for me. 1 mandarin tree planted at work and a garden mulched with humus ready for spring vegetable planting. 2 mandarin trees planted out front at home and 1 dwarf apple tree ready to go in out back for espelliering.
