My shop is in the basement and the roof rafters/floor joists are exposed. I clamp my clamps on these so they hang horizontal. I sort them by size and type.

The "painting the shop" comment made me think so...
In a humid shop, these will bow over the years Some doors include gypsum or lead sheeting (radiation rooms).
I agree it's a good idea to support your local library, but this is one of those things that it's nice to have down in your shop whenever you need it.
I have the Craftsman, same as dewalt but (IMHO) better handle... downside is that it's black, which isn't as easy to find in a cluttered shop as that DeWalt yellow..
I plan to keep busy in the shop and watching the grandson after school. Mike
I turned my split k-mart MSHCB into a number of shop jigs, fixtures, and tool handles. I then went to Williams Sonoma and got a real one for the kitchen.
