OT

I thought they (and other traders) could process an order without a CVV but they had as a result to accept higher charges/higher risk of chargebacks from fraud. I can well believe Amazon do so given their aim is less immediate profit and more world domination.

Photo hosting sites

I've been happy with it too - although the ads when you visit it are a bit wearing. Other thing is the direct links are accessible with most browsers regardless of age - unlike some similar sites.

The gloat that got away

My take on College is: parents didn't send me to college, get a job and send yourself - you'll appreciate it more and may even learn something besides Partying 101 and Slacker 201. ;-) FWIW, Greg G.

Sprinkler System

The manufacturers' web sites (such as Rainbird) have all the information you will need on planning and installing. I know in non-freezing areas they use PVC piping; here, where it freezes in winter, they use poly, and they have a machine that pulls it into place without trenching.

Why are local councils so short sighted?

We have four wheelie bins; garden waste, cardboard/paper, tins/plastic/ foil, and non-recyclable!
