The WoodWright's Shop - Three Legged Chair

Yesterday's airing of the WoodWright's Shop showed the process of making a 3 legged stool (chair, seating). They commented on the history of 3 legge d seating, being a standard long time ago, about 1300s - 1600s, I think it was.

Craftsman shop machines are a kit?

I have been down in the shop setting up some of my father's old machines. I worked on his old lathe, about 15 or so years old. I don't think he used it very much, and after trying to get it working right, I think I might know why.

Why I shop at Ace Hardware

Ace Hardware is a good place to shop 2. You can actually get replacement parts for toilet fill valves Customer has a low-flush toilet that was running. Problem turned out to be the fill valve, which was very flaky.

Questions about Finishing a Basement Shop

I have a 16.5' x 33' x 9' area set aside for my Woodworking shop. Three of the walls are poured concrete foundation walls. The fourth wall is stud framed for about 80% and the remainder concrete foundation.
