Coloured tape from car shop outside, fill inside with clear epoxy. For common cars, "pattern" clusters from eBay are OK and much cheaper than dealer.
Buy household flea spray (2-3 cans) from a pet shop, spray the whole house top to bottom, vacuum all soft furnishings, wash bedding etc.
If you are buying a cheapy SDS get it from a shop, so it is easy to take back and replace if it is wrong.
Even in Michigan, the first snow catches hundreds of motorists out, with subsequent involuntary trips to the repair shop.
Try dropping it into an independant phone shop and see what they make of it.
