Need some advice on band saw

I've gotten some incredible deals on barely-used shop tools on craigslist. 350 could get a reeeealy nice bandsaw, at used prices.

Crimp sleeve or alternate ideas...

There are some parts to the latch that are really fun to make replacements for too - - - - would be easy (er) with a full machine shop

What size nut goes onto a typical US passenger tire Schrader valve?

A bike shop would probably give you one. New tubes come with two.

How hot is it? Acurite wireless indoor-outdoor thermometer.

Head down to your local photorapher's shop and ask her to check your thermometer against their darkroom unit. Oh, wait, I'm a half century late....
