Plant an apple orchard and you can feast on apple-fed rabbit and deer. Make your own beer. Become good friends with the game warden. It's always open season on rabbits, but do not kill them until the temperature has been below 32F for a few days.

Anyone using OCUlink ?

Sadly, Apple have removed Firewire support from their products, or are you suggesting using the two daisy-chained Apple adapters with a PC with a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 port ?. I hadn't actually considered doing that for some reason.

Please help ID this fly trapped on an apple-maggot trap

I just put out some tangle-trap coated red balls to reduce the apple maggot infestation [this is in Seattle]. By the end of the day I had at least 6 of these flies, about 8mm body length.
