What happened to this apple tree on photo and what to do with that?

Woolly apple aphids infest roots, trunks, limbs, shoots, and occasionally f ruit of apple trees. The bodies of these bark-feeding aphids are completely covered by masses of white, wool-like, waxy materials.

I agree, but sometimes it just seems necessary to "harden up" and in those instances, my adam's apple would be in my mouth.

EU lamps

If it was down to me, my fondleslab wouldn't be a RIM or an Apple. The Blackberry was what supplied by my employer.

Is it worth having a microwave oven repaired?

Spotted Dick, Apple Dumpling, any steamed sponge puddings, Christmas pudding. All much better than any other method of making them and much quicker.

too many apples?

One apple for 25 leaves, so thin until you get that ratio. The leftover apples should be reasonably well distributed around the tree.

OT The new van - yes it is a FIAT

They don't /quite/ do that, but they do let android (and I believe apple) devices display maps, media etc to the car's display.

HDMI audio.

My 2011 Mac does support HDMI audio, but the Thunderflash port to HDMI adapterI bought from Apple didn't! The later model adapter did.
