4 foot LED "shop" lighting

And - buyer beware if you're outfitting your whole shop ! Less than a year ago, I installed a 4 ft. LED self-contained light fixture in my back-basement storage room.

Maybe a "new" shop tip.

I saw the posting about the best tip you found on the NG. I have to agree that Doug S's one of shooting nails through a piece of tape is one of the best I ever found. I don't know if this one is new, but I "invented" it today for myself. It may have been done before but I've never seen it ...

Client's workshop set up

Now would betetimeto add more windows. Maybe even a cheap r/c A/C unit high up on the wall. I like windows high on walls as well. Better light, better venting, more privacy. Easier to do now than later.

CFL's for Re: New Shop

First I'd like to thank ya'll for all the comments on laying out my new shop a few weeks ago. Very helpful. Altho I had thought of many of the items mentioned, it did help confirm, in my mind, HA! I was on the right track. The island idea from FFW looks good.

Fluorescent Lighting for Shop/Garage

Probably all of the regular readers hear are as familiar as they care to be with my "shop lighting" plans. So I won't belabor them again. Earlier, I was advised here to seek out "5000K" T8 bulbs. Reviewing my notes, I saw I wrote that down a few times!
