Question about breaking the bead using a harbor freight bead breaker?

Find a local independent shop with a good front end man. They are worth their weight in gold. The only pitfall is most "free alignment checks" are worth exactly what you pay for them - or less.

Teen electrocuted changing bulb at gas station

(Some bi-pin connectors are push-in, not common, but much better than the twist variety) I seem to have a problem with the pins, too. I like those single pin spring loaded types a lot better. I'm always afraid I'm going to pop the glass, and have it rain down on me.

Siphon a truck tank?

Ford shop says "dunno what will be found, I don't know what type of system is in the truck, couild be switch, pump, or something else". They didn't even know if there was a pump in both tanks or a common pump. Real helpful guys, how about looking in the freakin manual to see what system is ...

Group Workshops

They meet at the Woodcraft store and then they go visit various peoples' shops, etc. I know quite a few people with shops due to my association with them.

Glass

Find and visit your local stained glass hobby shop. I found one locally and they had lots of diffused or textured glass onhand to choose from and were very nice in selling me a good set of glass cutting tools and showed me how to use them.

Poor customer service

Only once did I ever receive a legitimate phone call from the bank where I have an active credit card account. I did not trust who might be calling even though I recognized the name of the bank.

ground cover fabric

For securing ground cover fabric, I usually go for garden staples or pins. They're easy to use—just push them through the fabric and into the ground. Plus, they hold everything down pretty well, even in windy weather.
