Went to the local Screwfix Shop and it was £79.99 . Ordered online with something else just to bring it over the £50 free del. threshold. Wouldn't it have made sense for the shop to have let me have it at the online price thus saving Screwfix a delivery? mark
What a pain if you are buying something online from a site where you have not stored your card details (I never allow any site to store card details) and you have to enter the long card number. This is going to annoy a lot of people

A few times I've been caught without a bag and popped into a charity shop for a free 'donation bag'. I do take quite a lot in (not always to the shop on the bag!) and buy from them quite often, so I don't feel bad. Owain

The tiny pins on the 4' tubes, combined with the crappy, pinch every penny design of the fixtures make them a PITA. In my 22 x 22 shop I have 8 twin tube 8' fixtures and the light level is just acceptable. I would like a few task area lights.
If the item was bought with a credit card take along the credit card voucher or even the credit card statement and say "I bought this on this date and want a refund".
I got some free scraps from a local custom counter shop. Works great. If you insist on brushing something, I'd use poly and then wax it to make it slick. Chris
