I don't agree - brooms were sufficient for centuries before shop-vacs became were even invented....
you can buy special belt spray from a car shop, that should stop the noise.
Check Humber collage 5 or 6 years ago they had a wood shop class. Jim
The shop apron has pockets for storing loose appendages!
I would stop by a machine shop and ask the machinist where to get it.
A white colored pencil, crayon, or grease pencil, from any hobby shop works well also.
