How much to pay for cabinet shop cuts?

I don't have a shop setup right now, so I can't make much these days. A lot of the furniture in our house is pretty ghetto. Normally, I'd hardly ever buy any furniture at IKEA. But I was there during their sale, and whoa, I found this oak table: http://tinyurl.com/l8cg5For $200!

When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to the correct insertion of my credit card. I have since been asked to shop elsewhere in the future. They need to make their instructions to us seniors a little clearer!

1988 Buick not cooling up to par - Best New R-12 Substitutes?

Oh, you need the 609 card to work on cars. Even a 608 Universal doesn't give you permission to work on a car. Most cars run about 2.25 to 3.75 pounds of refrigerant. By the time you get some more juice, maybe the shop coulda done you up. Converting to 134A seldom works as well.

Newbie: Between coats treatment -- purpose?

A card scraper and/or sambpaper with a block works well. I do finishing on my shop. It is damn near impossible to get the dust down to where *NONE* ends in the finish. I will generally take a very light wipe with 220 along the grain.

Anyone else dealing with a persistent gas leak on their new Viking range?

Viking techs love to pull the 'it's just the new appliance smell' card. Total gaslighting. If the utility company’s sniffer is hitting, it’s a real leak, period. Did you buy this from a local high-end showroom? If so, go down there in person.

When is a cutoff just trash?

I agree with some of the other posts- rare (exotics, expensive) I keep small pieces for dowel pins, splines, drawer pulls, etc., these go in a box under my bench. Larger, more common woods I keep larger pieces in the rafters overhead and smaller pieces go in another box under the bench.

Hmm..OT

Nationwide made me visit a bank branch, print off a statement on their in-branch printer and have it stamped with the branch stamp. However, I could have simply acquired the PIN and bank card of 'me' and without any photo-id, the bank branch would have been none the wiser.

Neither Paypal or credit card works. Can't get to either the Paypal site or to card authorisation. Tried it several times on different days on two different computers both running Win7.
