router table openings?

Keep in mind that I am still using a shop vac, so one hose for the top of the fence. Some day when I have better shop, then will consider a dust collection. Is the sole propose for closed area router area is for dust collection? Chuck

Electrolysis for de-rusting

Take the parts to any automotive machine shop (or serious bike shop) and have them glass bead blasted. The parts come out perfectly dry and ready for paint after a quick air spritz to remove dust. Takes about 10 minutes on average. Joe

Lately, in the shop, we've been deliberately mixing up old sayings. We end up with stuff like "The grass is always greener just before the dawn." or "We'll cross that bridge like a bull in a china shop." ....juvenile, I know...but it does get funny sometimes..

Kitchenaid superba refrigerator gone wrong, not cooling enough and clicking

local shop is full of s**t. if any thing would go bad it would be the over load. And if compressor was bad it probably would not start. The only way I would agree with local shop is if fridge is drawing higher amps then specified.

Heating new basement, electric or propane?

I have electric shop heat, and propane furnace house heat. I'm thinking to add a wood stove to the shop.

Kitchen Worktops

You could buy some used saucers from a charity shop. They go cheaply, because people have usually broken the cups. And when you go, your kids will hopefully donate them back to a charity shop. Owain
