Gas safety check

This site should answer a good few questions for you: http://www.hse.gov.uk/gas/domestic/There is a lot of reading through the menu selections so have a shop around the site.

Question re mobility battery

Look it up on the maker's site, and make sure it is suitable. If no maker's site, beware. I helped a pal with a scooter get some replacements from Ebay - at well under half the shop price - and last I heard were fine.

Workshop layout plans.

The grizzly site mentioned has a shop layout utility that will let you choose and move items around, but it doesn't have any ideas that I've found.
