So chill, TW

Outside lights

Personally I think TW&E run externally looks cheap. Best option is bare MI cable which is small and neat and will blend in well with most stone or brick. Otherwise HiTuf. http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Main_Index/Cable_Index/Hi-Tuf/index.html

Police drag passenger from United Airlines plane

You obviously don't understand economics 101. Higher costs, whether they are for labor, materials or empty seats, get passed along to the consumer. In free markets, prices don't get set by excuses, they get set by supply and demand.

Lights

I could repeat giving lighting design 101 again; but, 1 Watt/ft2 works. Lew

Gluing wood to glass

It is a poor sealant and once you start using it, you have to stay with it. 3M 101 and SikaFlex 291 are both far superior to silicone and far easier to handle IMHO. Lew

[OT] refuse - what's the point?

This morning I went down to our communal bins (which had been emptied yesterday) and two of then were already completely full. Some bugger had thrown away four large boxes and couldn't be bothered to squash them up. I took them out and put them in the recycling shed.

Compact Radiator Identification

At last I got round to taking a couple of photos (excuse the poor quality from Blackberry 8250) https://www.dropbox.com/s/h00poxstqhgs4h3/Radiator%20top%201.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/dhtsk9h64hy6fp5/Radiator%20top%202.jpg?
