Don't buy a FIAT I think I have mentioned this tip before. I got the AA twice today for two different vans.

It has a 6' round glass top and it is always smudged. To make matters worse, the chairs are on casters so we end up grabbing the edges of the table to pull ourselves to the table so it is also smudged under the table to.
Today I watched the new season of Top Gear with the new presenters. I suffered through less than half of it and gave up. I hope the new version with Jeremy, James, and Richard is as good as the original. The new BBC version just plain sucks.
I have a dining room table i bought @ 5 years ago made supposedly from old barn materials. The store I purchased it at is now closed, so i don't know exactly what kind of finish is on it, but a friend who does some woodworking says it appears to be varnish. I plan on building a built-in desk top to a section of my office room (36" x 119"). What is the best/strongest way for cutting and gluing? I am not a master woodworker...this is just a hobby. 1---cut boards 2"-3" in width and flip end to end or flip side to side?
http://www.woodworkingtips.com/etips/etip020419sn.html?1009130201181825 Interesting. JOAT You only need two tools: WD-40, and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
The top is a 24" doughnut 2" wide and 7/8" thick with cypress slats floating in the center field. The circle is made from 5 arc segments biscuited and glued. The base is a tradtional 4 legs with aprons between forming a square slightly less than the top's 24".
Now the question = is should I use ply or mdf for the base material of the top. Any = suggestions would be appreciated. Puff
