Why would you pay $40-50 an hour for completed work? Wouldn't you just pay for completed work (or pay by the hour?)

Two fruit tree questions

On impulse (and since I had the room to spare for planting them) I bought a Bartlett pear, a Granny Smith apple (both grafted, each around 6 feet tall). It wasn't until on the way home it crossed my mind that they might not be self-fertile.

Carpenter Bees Solution

Well maybe not carpenter bees but they are bigger than the honey bees that stung me as a barefoot child walking under the apple tree that was dropping fruit. Bigger than the honey bees Dad, brother and grandfather kept.
