Tyre replacement

While sometimes the big national chains can be competitive on the price for tyres just avoid taking up their offers for the free safety check, or a check of tracking etc. This is how they up-sell.

"Express" (hah!) Scan-it-yourself checkouts

It is basically a "closed shop". Maybe we should send you 20 or 30 million people who will work for $50 a day, still expecting all of those "free" services and see what happens to your economy.

Plywood with lots of plies

About half the B&Q price with free postage. 48 hour delivery too. Unless you have a specialist woodwork shop nearby, you're more likely to get offcuts of what you want on Ebay than anywhere else.

Identify generator part

Tape to repair office chair arm

Maybe an auto upholstery shop would be an answer. There's a site here that might help: https://www.ifixit.com/ There is an electrical tape for watertight connections that is really flexible.
