Crabapple setbacks

Last Autumn I bought two crab apple trees (Evereste and White Star which were potted and in full fruit.

OT: ATTN Rod speed: Iphone pictures the wrong way round.

Never known that to happen, perhaps Apple use cheap parts? They use s*it batteries for a start. Not with a decent phone. I prefer taking the piss. Someone was selling a "chair in need of repair". I pointed out that I could fix it. The chair had fallen over :-) Format?

Fruit Trees

I couldn't see anything, than looked on the ground and found an apple! Only one apple. I brought it inside and cut it open and no worms either! Can I expect to get more apples later? If one apple is worm free will they all be?

Growing cabbages - success !

Since we have a mad old apple tree that's half fallen over and produces tons of apples that don't keep (the variety is just unkeepable) we make quantities of spiced red cabbage and apple for the freezer. marvellous! Also think potatoes.

OT... kinda... Karl, head's up!

All of my projects photos/collections besides being on Google, are also in Apple photos and Flickr, just not public. I use Flickr specifically because they can be saved in the original resolution ... not so with Google or Apple. As far as Picasa itself, hate it ...

Fruit Juicer for eye problem

(apple and carrot is qute nice) However you do have to chop the fruit, veg, etc. into small pieces before it will go through and there's always the cleaning afterwards...
