I don't think Apple are releasing many patches for ten year old OSes either. Do you really think manufacturers of such specialised items have the resources to look after linux source? Do you think they will pay for someone to fix a bug that wasn't known about?

OT computer issue

Same thing with those sleek Apple iMacs. You pay a premium and everything is packed into the display. Maybe you can take it apart to DIY repair, but I wouldn't count on it. And if you need portability, then a tablet is a possible solution too.

Tree Advice

You could get a multiple variety apple tree, so pollination is not a problem. They have 2, 3, or more varieties grafted onto one tree. You have to be careful not to prune off tthe main branch of each variety.

Paint - still with the 'brush strokes' !!

Years ago, I met some entrepreneurials that took an Apple, concept of HP's X-Y plotter grabbing ink colors, and combined all to make billboard painting possible. But alas, Gannett was not as interested in it as we all had hoped.
