when pulling a well, one of the pain in the ass parts is trying to screw the pitless puller in to the pitless. You have to try to hold the flashlight just so in order to see and it is always next to impossible to see where you are going.
FIX: dump some water down into the well. enough to fill the pitless with water, it will now reflect light and be incredibly easy to see even without flashlight.
