Can I use a brass compression fitting on CPVC??? Would this be an acceptable way to connect CPVC to copper??

i dont know, but the way i did it was to glue on cpvc end with male pipethread, then solder a female copper end on the copper. cut the copper or cpvc so they can be screwed together and reatach cut piece with union , glued on cpvc or soldered on copper.
