Assuming it's remaining outdoors, you'll need to sand thoroughly or back to new, prime, paint and then coat everything with polyurethane a month after the painting. The primer and paint needs to fully cure. Another option is to sand and just spray it straight with a…

Assuming it's remaining outdoors, you'll need to sand thoroughly or back to new, prime, paint and then coat everything with polyurethane a month after the painting. The primer and paint needs to fully cure. Another option is to sand and just spray it straight with a multi-purpose Enamel spray paint. This doesn't need a primer or has it built-in and makes its own protective shell.
