Depends on the type of window and door you have and how well sealed they are. Any home center will have a variety of products to do both.

Do an online search and you'll be swamped with info. There a number of ways to adequately do any project such as this.

Driveway seal coat, and a push broom. On the other hand, might want to try it on a door on the back of the houe, first.
