The water pressure in my house was fine until about 6 weeks ago. Then I noticed a significant drop of the water pressure from my kitchen faucet. Now I did not call anybody about it. But about 2 weeks later the city announced it was going to shut the water off on my block for a big chunk of the day to fix some issue with the mains. When they turned it back on the pressure seem to be better but no where near where it was. I also can see the pressure change slighty as it comes out of the faucet. The pressure in the other faucets do not really seem to be decreased. I have a new baby and really need full pressure in my kitchen faucet. I was wondering if this sounds like a problem with the citys mains or a problem with pipes in my house. I am hoping I have good luck for once and hope it is the city's problem. Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Oh and in case it helps, the water meter is unde the kitchen sink and the (main?) shutoff valve is there and it is wide open.
Thanks,
