Our washing machine (top loading) was repaired last week because it was overfilling and flooding the laundry. The repair man cut a little piece from each end of the tube that connects from the bottom of the outer tub to the bottom of the water level switch, and refitted it. This fixed the overfill problem but now the washing machine will not completely empty of water. In the final spin there is water sloshing in the bottom of the tub. Just seems strange that this happened after the repair. Could shortening the length of the tube slightly cause this to happen?
Thanks Andy
