Toilet germs include Hepatitis A, Norwalk Virus, Fecal Coliform, etc.

Research studies show that viruses including Norwalk Virus (cause of recent outbreaks on cruise ships), Hepatitis A (recent cause of hundreds of severe illnesses and death in restaurants), Fecal Coliform, Salmonella and other germs escape from toilet bowls into the air where they travel over 6 feet and land on towls, handles, toothbrushes, counters, etc. They live from 3 hours to several days. Bill,

I am sure that fecal coliform and salmonella are not virii as you claim, they are bacteria. You are correct that flushing a toilet does cause microdroplets and may spread disease. Nothing on your site backs up your claim that the miracleseat will halt microdroplets or prevent the spread of disease. You are not "sharing news of a product that will help" you are spamming.

Back when I was a microbiologist at A Prestigious Institution of Higher Learning (really I was!) one course on Pathogenic Microorganisms included a lab section where students would go out to the school cafterias and take swab samples from the food preparation and serving areas. The swabs were then cultured to see what pathogens were picked up. This lab was discontinued because students would routinely find the damnedest microorganisms--all the Clastridia, various fecal coliforms, Lysteria, Strep, Staph, Aerobacter--you name it. The findings would occasionally cause some unease. At this time the professor would have to explain that although traces of these pathogens could be found almost anywhere, the traces were sub-clinical doses and the chances of anyone with an functioning immune system actually getting ill were vanishingly small. Check the biological term "infectious dose." If the possibility of having a germ land accidently on your hands makes you uneasy, please remember to wash your hands at the proper times. Your natural defenses against infection are in general quite sufficient.

And, yes, "sharing news of a product that can help" is indeed spam. Go away and take your useless miracle toilet with you.
