I never would've thought to use peanut butter. It wasn't the best method.

Neither would I. Once I opened the peanut butter, I'd want a sandwich.

I'm not sure I would classify Jif as peanut butter rather than flavored Crisco. I sometimes use those orange childproof drug containers for geocaches and I've found a hair dryer works great to get the labels off.

I discovered the technique while roasting coffee in a Air Crazy popcorn popper and was curious if the heat would help a label I was trying to peel.
