Medics attempting to reach snake bite victim in Loch Raven Watershed
An exact location has not been given, but on Monday morning, the Providence Volunteer Fire Company reported that special operations personnel were using an ATV to try to reach the victim.
Units from the Baltimore County Fire Department are also on the scene and attempting to provide treatment.
There has been no word on the victim?s condition.

2nd encounter in a state park this year! I read article that Copperheads were going to be out in force cause of the cicadassecond copperhead bite reported in maryland ( that I've seen ) And people say they aren't here ??

UPDATE: An adult female was located and removed from the woods onboard PVFC ATV-29. An EMS crew treated and transported the adult female to a hospital in stable condition for treatment from a suspected copperhead bite.
When I was in Maine, they told me there are no poisonous snakes in Maine, and I've been sticking with that statement even though I'm in Maryland now.
