Slab Foundation Issue

Jan 05, 2007 1 Replies

I have a slab garage with cinder block around the perimeter. The one corner of the garage is rising up a bit and I wondered if it was probably water related. It is actually raising the whole garage a bit on that corner relative to everything else.

Thanks

I'd expect water related to drop the foundation by undermining it. If you have expansive soils I'd expect things to move a bit more evenly and just see cracking. If it's rising I'd think big tree roots as the first suspect.
