Should I replace my Karcher

I have a 14 year old model 570, 1000psi, 2.4GPM 35lb electric washer which I paid approx $400 for in 1992. There is nothing wrong with it but the lightweight 1300psi 1.5GPM models with rotating nozzle and cart for $100 are tempting. I think I already know the answer but are these new units as reliable and do they clean as well as my old Karcher?

What's the model number and who has the unit for $100.00?

no on reliability, no on cleaning: your gpm specs are better so no they are only 1.6 gpm. and the old metal karcher used to run extensions of the pressure hose i purchased at extra cost. my old german made karcher died, my plastic karcher failed from oops hot water use immediately a couple of years ago, so we bought a cheap one brand unknown $89 when aldi had one on sale in spring 2005.it's so lightweight that it likes to tip over but the automatic on with handle trigger feature makes it great. and it still works.

1000psi vs 1300 wont matter much , going to 2500 yes. Keep it I hear new ones are not as good. Just look at price and weight, how do you think they were able to sell it cheaper today when materials have more than doubled in price in ten years, 3$ a day labor, why are new ones lighter, cheap construction.
