scratched glass

Hi, I had some old french doors with the window panes painted over. I removed the paint but in the process scratched the hell out of the glass. I can't replace 15 small pieces (the original molding is so good etc.) Can I polish away the scratches? If you scratched it as bad as you said, you'll really have to replace the glass. It will be a lot of work, but at least those little panes won't cost too much. John

You could TRY one of those epoxy windshield repair kits, but I suspect that you'll only make matters worse.
