I have looked at 2 New Whirlpool Refrigerators Gold Series for not getting correct water pressure after changing water filter and the other one nothing but just not enough water supply. Both was Whirlpool Gold series and have took one all topieces and nothing wrong. After all the looking and checking . i found the Whirlpool Gold Series with ice and water in the door can not use the 1/4" plastic tubing needle valve. The 1/4" tubing kit comes with the needle valve in it and there will not be enough water come through the needle to supply good water supply to the water part in the door. The ice maker will work fine but the water will not supply enough of water to the door water spout. You have to get a full open ball or gate valve to get the proper water supply to the door water spout. This ideal came up about 6 months ago and I just not got to the bottom of it.
