Replaced bayonet with a new wall light , now the wall light is on all the time

The new wall light has 3 terminals (live, neutral & earth) where the bayonet that I replaced had 4 (live, neutral, earth and loop). I connected the 3 cables to the wall light but not the loop cable as there's no terminal for it in the wall light.

The wall light is on even if the light switch is off. No matter if it's on or off, the wall light is on. I looked into the light switch and can see 2 red cables going to (common) and one white cable going to (1).

Can someone please assist and explain to me where to terminate the loop cable in the wall light so the light switch can control it?

I traced the loop cable and it's going directly to the light switch from the wall light but. I'm guessing the loop cable either goes to active or neutral in the wall light but not sure.

I had no luck on Reddit so I'm hoping someone can help me here :)

If that helps, there's one loop cable, one neutral cable, one earth, one live cable terminated to the wall light.
