PVC Electrical Fittings & AL Red-Dot Outdoor Box: O.K. ?

With out knowing what your doing it is impossible to answer your question.

Check Bell, and Perfect Line they both make cast AL boxes.

Hello:

Is it Code O.K. to use those outdoor "Red-Dot Dry Tite Round Boxes" with PVC fittings ?

The boxes are Al, and have NPT female threaded holes (boxes also have ears on them for fastening against, e.g., house siding).

Would like to use in an outdoor application, with electrical PVC conduit and PVC male threaded fittings going into the box.

Was concerned about using PVC fittings into an AL box outdoors.

PVC fittings and the AL box any problem re Code compliance ? (couldn't find any equiv. PVC box; the Red Dot AL one looks perfect for application)

Thanks

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you ground the box. PVC conduit to Al box is pretty common.
