The source of your article, The Epoch Times, is a fake-news site. It is more subtle than Alex Jones' Infowars. That makes it harder to detect it's trying to brainwash you.

So, specifically , what part of the story is false?

If you Google the headline, many news outlets also published the same story around the same date. Lie sites publish innocuous stories from Reuters and AP too.

I just don't want to indulge myself in reading news from lie sites just because there might occasionally be real news in them. I want people to be aware that The Epoch Times is a lie site.

Meanwhile, in Canada Fox "news" is being scrutinized for their

I am Canadian. I like to follow American politics. I think the US has become a dysfunctional country with nuclear weapons. I actually agree with most of Tucker Carlson's view points, except his pro-gun and anti-abortion stance.

I used to watch TV evangelist broadcast on Sundays, and listen to Central American rebel English radio broadcast. After internet came along, I love to visit conspiracy sites, wingnut sites, white supremacist site, Global Times and RT. I went to church most of my life, and I bought a Koran (English translation. Before internet) and read cover to cover. I am still an atheist. I think I am not easily influenced.

I think Tucker Carlson Tonight is quite informative. Of course there are political bias, dramatization and exaggeration for ratings and catering to target audiences. I have very good BS detection due to lifelong exposure to propaganda, influence and brainwash.
