Perfect for Delaware and probably the rest of the country. I mentioned elsewhere in thread how property taxes are much lower in lower Delaware.

The per-capita government expenses in DE are as high as neighboring states but taxes for individuals are much lower due to the high DE incorporation rate. If not for the corporations our taxes would be just as high as our neighboring states.

CT has been struggling with the budget for years. This explains it very well. Income taxes won't work as well with a declining AGI.

It is interesting that the only place in Florida with a net migration out of money is the Miami Ft Lauderdale area (AKA where new yorkers used to go to die). I guess they even gave up on that area now that they have is screwed up so badly. It is the example other Floridians use of how not to develop an area.

The Cape was always a virtual "gated community" with all sorts of stupid rules like no pickup trucks and leaving your shoes on the front porch is a crime. I didn't even consider it when I came here in 83. I lived in Sanibel for a year and it is quaint but nuts in "season". It didn't take long to get the "beach" out of my system. I have a house on the Estero River since 84 and I love it. Five minutes to I-75, 15 to the airport and I am at the end of a 1 mile dead end road so there is no traffic here. We are backed up to an 11 square mile aquatic preserve with a 1600 acre "scrub" park that has about a dozen marked and unmarked hiking trails. It is deserted most of the time after "season" and not that busy in season.

Nevada is nice but they're running out of water.  Can't imagine what that will cost to fix.

We get cash rebates to remove grass from lawns. New construction homes cannot have grass lawns in front. I've taken all mine out and have a desert landscape.

Gray water has been used in golf courses for some years now. Never heard it used for domestic usage.

Any city down river from another city is recycling sewer water. Imagine how many people have pissed in the Mississippi River by the time it gets to New Orleans. Most of the world is running out of water so we might as well get used to it.

Yah, think of all the tourist piss in Orlando.  Florida must be saturated with it.

Not when the upstream town doesn't put the recycled sewer water in the river.

You don't have to drink water from that river tho.
