Panasonic bath fan... wow.

That sounds like a great cruise. I can't get my wife back on a cruise ship after the last one. Got a little rough.

Cruises seem like a great deal until they hit you up for the tip at the end.

I'm hoping to go to Boston next summer. I really enjoyed that trip out to the east coast.

As far as those points are concerned; you know who's paying for those, don't you?

I don't use "credit cards," I use "charge cards." The difference is that the charge card balance is paid off the day the bill arrives. A charge card will protect your purchases and can get you money back, but these advantages mean nothing for someone with bad shopping habits.

And the concept of revolving credit takes advantage of bad shopping habits. Unfortunately, most people don't have the self control you do. We didn't until I realized how much of our payments were actually going to the purchases. I had a Sears card and I think I paid for a circular hand saw for about 5 years. I was poor and barely able to make minimum payments. Fortunately, we're doing much (much) better now. ;-) It's hard to imagine how we got by.

Last year I bought a new camera off the internet for $800. When the package arrived the box was empty. The vendor wouldn't do anything and stated that it would be "investigated." I called Discover Card and they credited my account immediately.

I hate to spoil your fun, but if you don't pay for your purchase until the bill comes, you have used a CREDIT card and borrowed the money for the purchase.
